About Automotive Technician

What does an Automotive Technician do?

As automotive technicians, we are responsible for maintaining and repairing customer’s vehicles. Our job role includes vehicle’s diagnostic testing and component replacement. We also conduct a car’s emission inspection to find out any flaw in the engine. Along with all these roles, we are also in charge of changing the car’s oil, fixing the brake, steering wheel, and electrical systems. As automotive technicians, we also make sure the work environment is safe and there is no gas/oil leakage.

Core tasks:

  • maintaining paperwork
  • installing car’s battery and headlights
  • ensuring the proper working of steering wheel and breaks
  • inspecting the car for finding the default and safety purposes
