Worked for the company when it was a family owned company and the owners took care of the employees. The owners sold the company to the employees and it became an ESOP. One of the former owners stayed on as CEO to help direct the company. He stepped down and then a new CEO stepped in that has a sketchy, almost criminal, history. Then the bonus went from quarterly to every three months, and then to only end of year. Next came the lay off’s. First were the people with attendance or discipline issues. The wave of layoffs that got me was when they went after the high seniority and top pay. The company went from looking out for the employees and people that make the place run to sacrificing anyone they can to make the numbers look good. Making the numbers look good is how the new CEO got in trouble with the Federal Trade Commission! I still hope the best for the people that “made the cut”!
