The President/CEO is Robert Bob Higgins since 2009. The subsidiaries are jB+a Inc and Gould Turner Group. The firm was first founded as Waggoner and Associates company by Waggoner and Yokely. Then, in 1955 company name changed to Barge Waggoner Inc with the relationship partnered with Dan Barge. Later, in 2017 the corporate name changes to Barge Design Solutions. Barge Design Solutions has 350 total employees across all of its locations in Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, and Texas with 22 companies nationwide. They provide services in architecture, engineering, environmental, geomatics, landscaping, planning, and information management for the markets in education, federal, healthcare, industrial, transportation, and many more.
