The Bernard M. Baruch College, commonly referred to as the Baruch College, is a public educational institute operating under the City University of New York educational system, offering undergraduate, master's, and affiliate programs through its three academic facilities namely, the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Zicklin School of Business, all present within the city of New York. The school’s legacy dates back to 1847, to the formation of the Free Academy, an institution to offer free public higher education in the United States.
