About Baseball Coach

What does a Baseball Coach do?

As Baseball Coaches, we formulate a successful philosophy to promote the student-athlete's educational welfare and sportsmanship while preparing a yearly budget for the baseball program, including maintenance of the baseball field. We establish and maintain an ethical and moral code of behavior and living expected of the players residing on campus, purchasing equipment, and uniforms, and keeping records of all purchases. We are responsible for developing and maintaining a yearly, monthly, and daily maintenance schedule for all baseball facilities while providing baseball information and statistics to the area and state media.

Core tasks:

  • develop fundraisers to improve the baseball program
  • actively participate in related consortiums, partnerships, organizations
  • create a recruitment plan and actively recruit student/athletes
