Basis School, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, are a network of schools that use BASIS Curriculum. All the Schools using BASIS Curriculum are monitored by BASIS Educational Group, LLC (it is a for-profit organization serving primarily BASIS schools). BASIS chartered schools prepare students from elementary until high school and make them compete globally. This is accomplished by following extensive homework hours, classes followed by lectures, advanced placement tests, and more. Currently, there are twenty-eight BASIS Schools in the United States, 21 in Arizona, one in Washington, one in NY, two in Texas, one in Louisiana.
