What does a Basketball Coach do?

As Basketball Coaches, we are responsible for cultivating a basketball program based on learning, passion, and teamwork. We encourage a program that inspires greatness through actions, words, and accountability. We create a collaborative environment that encourages parents and educators to collaborate on student-athletes development. Maintaining proper safety during all practices and games is also a part of our duty. We develop training methods with a track record of success in technical skills and character development. Working as Basketball Coaches, we are responsible for following all of the organization's values, policies, and ethics. We build a world-class basketball program in collaboration with other coaches around the network. Finally, we recruit qualified students who meet the college's requirements.

  • recruiting and instructing student-athletes
  • coordinating and coaching team at games and tournaments
  • scheduling and supervising team practices
  • promoting athletic programs for the college
