As Behavior Specialists, we work under the teaches’ direct supervision to adapt classroom activities, materials, and assignments to suit all special education students and provide them with an opportunity to participate in classroom activities. We provide homework, tests, and make-up work to assist the teacher in evaluating the students’ progress and recognize the individual needs of each student. We also implement behavioral plans designed by the IEP team for students with behavior disorders or other conditions in order to provide the special education students with a safe and consistent environment.
