Responsibilities: Serve as Health & Welfare Benefits point of contact for several Clark entities with emphasis on processing: New HiresLife EventsTermination (COBRA) discussions Work with outside vendors and Corporate Communications on all Benefit communications, including coordinating all OE communications, Benefits Guide, Benefits 101 presentation, “Tri-Fold” recruiting brochures, electronic documents (HIPAA, SAR, etc.) and Workday onboarding (new hire document matrix). Serve as administrator for the Benefits section (community) of new Clark intranet.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements (including plan documents [SPD and SBC], 5500s, SARs, CMS reporting, PCORI, etc.) by studying existing and new legislation; obtaining qualified opinions; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Coordinates implementation/updates with Benefits team, Payroll and HRBPs. Maintain HIPAA training and compliance.Serve as back-up for vendor file reviewsWork with designated HRBP on Policy Handbook updatesPrepare periodic census and other data requirementsIdentify benefit options by studying programs; obtaining advice from consultantsParticipate in monthly Benefits Overview presentation for new hiresManages Total Rewards StatementsDevelop Wellness program Requirements: 2-4 years of prior benefits administration experienceSuperior attention to detailMicrosoft Office including excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF/THEN)Prior experience with HRIS, Workday background helpfulExcellent communication skills with emphasis on writing #LI-LG1-CK Clark Construction Group, LLC, (subsidiaries and affiliates) is an equal employment opportunity (“EEO”) employer.   • Evaluate job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements.
  • Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
  • Provide advice on the resolution of classification and salary complaints.

  • Administration and ManagementKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • ClericalKnowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Economics and AccountingKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Customer and Personal ServiceKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
