Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth was founded in 1886, to support children and families so they can live safely, self-sufficiently, and creatively within their home societies. Many families through New York State are in crisis and need help. When people are exposed to trauma during their life, they are likely to experience bad physical and, mental health, as well as educational outcomes. They carry trauma and can suffer from illness, early death, and poor quality of life. Diagnosing the health risks associated with unsolved trauma, Berkshire has acknowledged by establishing a trauma-informed model of treatment and care. This model reaches across our 100 programs throughout New York State. Whether you join our mission as an employee you are directly impacting and improving the lives of New York State’s children and families for the better. As a team member, you can expect benefits programs, with a retirement plan, clothing allowance, holiday time, insurance plan and competitive salary.
