I began working at Biamp in June 2022. At that time, the company was growing, and sales revenues were good. Unfortunately, over the last six months, sales revenue targets have not been met. On April 17, 2024 Biamp laid off 10% of its employees, me included. My manager also laid off the B shift Service and Repair Supervisor. My manager now has to do his job along with my job and that of the B shift Service and Repair Supervisor. My manager (former manager) is going to be quite busy doing the job of three people. While I would like to see things improve such that I might be recalled to work for Biamp, realistically the probability of that happening is low.

Pros and Cons
4/10 schedule
Product quality is not good and the QA department is not getting to root cause of problems.

Management is terrible because if you suggest any change in the company they won't listen. They often change your schedule with very little notice. For example, our normal work hours are 8 hours a day. You'll come in and unexpectedly work 10 hours every weekday for 5 days then ask you to come in on your day off. They overwork their employees and the turnover rate is terrible. In the first few months that I have worked there, 10 people have quit. Mind you, this is a very small company.

Pros and Cons
Free clean water... finally.
Everything, it's unorganized and chaotic
