Established in 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC (BBBS of NYC) is the first youth mentoring group in the country and the largest in the region. Their vision is for all young people to fulfill their full potential. Their mission is to develop and encourage mentoring relationships to spark young people's greatest potential futures. They encourage the next generation of leaders by matching a caring adult mentor, A Major, with a New York City youth, A Little. BBBS of NYC supports over 5,300 young people annually in all five boroughs through their one-to-one mentoring, Employer Mentoring Program (corporate engagement), affinity groups, College & Career Success Program, Bigs in Blue, and other community partner programs. New York City's Big Brothers Big Sisters is an employer with equal opportunity. They celebrate diversity and are committed to building for all workers an inclusive atmosphere.
