Big G Express, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned asset-based trucking company headquartered in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Big G Express has about 550 tractors and more than 1,600 trailers, providing customers nationwide with truck loading and unloading services for general merchandise, irregular routes and dry trucks. Big G was founded in 1995 with only 10 trucks. Now it has grown into a company with more than $100 million in revenue and more than 700 employees. In 2009, Big G Express became a 100% employee-owned firm through ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). This free retirement benefit is in addition to the excellent benefit plans offered to employee owners. Since the establishment of ESOP, the stock price has risen by more than 500%. Big G provides excellent benefits and competitive compensation for a financially stable firm that continues to grow.
