Our high-traffic office needs someone who is great on the phone, who has excellent analytical skills, and who is a serious multi-tasker. Job duties:

  • Answering a multi-line phone, updating reports, confirming appointments and assisting with general office procedures.
  • Enroll, change, and terminate employee insurance memberships; prepare invoices for payment.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new talent.
  • Verify employment history and skills.
  • Accept, change, and complete any paperwork necessary for employment records.
  • Coordinate communication between employees and the human resource & safety departments, including written and verbal notifications.
  • Complete various employment verification forms.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with focus on business/computer curriculum preferred.
  • 2 + years of experience in a customer service related position.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide proper follow-up.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, problem-solve and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Computer proficiency and understand Microsoft Office Programs: Word and Excel a must.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.

TASKS

  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
  • Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
  • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
