About Billing Specialist

What does a Billing Specialist do?

As Billing Specialists, we monitor the remote printing and distribution of paper invoices to ensure completeness and timeliness. We execute and validate the electronic invoice distribution process. We make sure that retention and sequencing needs are met to support billings. We are responsible for maintaining customer contract records to make sure that there is no interruption in service.

Core tasks:

  • ensuring accurate and timely billing processes and distribution of invoices
  • compiling monthly invoice transactions
  • addressing customer questions and concerns regarding any invoicing transactions
  • processing contract returns and credit memos
  • performing account reconciliations
