What does a Bindery Supervisor do?

As Bindery Supervisors, we are responsible for overseeing hourly employees and operations at a bindery. We ensure that the production of components and products meets quality standards. Our job is to ensure the production within the provided budget and meet efficiency requirements. We supervise different hand and power tools, including the press, printing production, and other machinery. We make sure that projects meet the specifications set by the customer. Our job is to check the specifications before sending the products out for delivery.

Core tasks:

  • ensuring continuous improvement of quality, productivity and methodologies used during the production processes
  • perform inspections on each product line to ensure adherence to the company’s policies
  • ensure that the plant stays compliant with safety and work rules and regulations
