Vitalant formerly known as Blood Centers of the Pacific is a non-profit blood bank that collects and preserve blood from donors for emergency use in future. Founded in 1943, Vitalant was the first blood bank in the United States and is accoladed for its remarkable contributions during the 2nd World War. The blood bank works with 40 hospitals around the San Francisco bay area and has helped thousands of people across the United States. Vitalant employs a dedicated and committed team of individuals striving to serve the greater purpose of saving humanity. Whereas, to further strengthen its workforce, Vitalant consistently seeks and encourages young and talented individuals to come on board and join their team.
