Bloomberg is a global mom and pop shop. They just acquire other companies’ technology and then infuse it with their own. There are over 13k employees, however there are less than 100 Black employees. Management is an all-white boys club. Human resources are management friendly and will look for every way possible to blame the employee. The company is not flexible with hours or working from home. They say one thing for PR purposes but tell the employees something totally different. Example management was instructing staff to report to the office at least twice a week during the Covid pandemic. Even though management remained out of the office for months. Every holiday all the managers take off, leaving the regular staff to report for work. There is no system setup to help or allow you to grow your career. Staff is not shown any appreciation, just criticized. The department is setup for employee failure so management can justify their roles.
