Blue Ridge Companies, founded in 1997 in the center of North Carolina, is inspired by the Blue Ridge Parkway. The persistence and endurance of the engineers who built the viaduct along the mountain-inspired founders David Couch and Chris Dunbar. Those engineers devised a novel solution to the problem of crossing the mountain while preserving its natural beauty. The attitude of creative compromise resulted in a gorgeous piece of engineering and an award-winning bridge for the Blue Ridge Parkway. This similar mindset has resulted in strong partnerships, industry success, and an award-winning firm for Blue Ridge Companies. David Couch and Chris Dunbar dreamed of a firm that could handle all aspects of real estate. They invest in industry-leading training for each of their team members to guarantee that clients have the resources they need to succeed in their roles with them for many years. For Blue Ridge staff, being 'E.P.I.C.' is a way of life. They encourage everyone to get involved in charitable activities, not just those that Blue Ridge is interested in, but also those that are important to their own community.
