Leadership are blind to what really goes on with staff. DEI not considered at all in staff relations. Toxic work environment.

I was lucky enough to get into BAH back in 2001. I loved the work, the culture and the people. I only left after 10 years because I got a great pay increase and a great opportunity for career growth.

The pricing department has good and bad with more of the bad. There is no such thing as off time, and pricing analyst get called into work at all hours all the time, including weekends, holidays, and late at night; expect to leave on time once or twice a week and work every other weekend. Upper management, somehow ignorant of this, places many administrative hurdles in they way and will criticize you for not meeting them perfectly. The good is that most of the pricers and other staff are very competent, and the tools they provided you with are quite good. This does not make up for the average salary they provide which is may of my former co-workers left/are interviewing elsewhere.

Recruited to work from another city! Great work initially… turned into hostile work environment with change of supervisor. Sexist and control freak made job extremely painful! Thankfully she was fired eventually!

First place I worked at after I finished my masters, they’re very good about gauging your capabilities and are a great source of learning. And if you’re a reservist or a guardsman in the military they will match your pay and are very accommodating of that.
