It was first started by students from Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute to deliver advanced, robotic technology for seamless retail operations. It is a provider of real-time, on-shelf product data for the global retail industry. This company manufactures inventory control robots for use in retail stores. Its technology collects terabytes of data that enables the retail ecosystem to optimize the omnichannel shopping experience. Bossa Nova’s robots are currently deployed in 350 stores across the United States and plan to expand it with fully autonomous service robots in busy and crowded environments.
