Boston Bruins, founded in 1924, are a professional hockey team of Boston. The play in the National Hockey League as a member of the Atlantic Division. It is the third-oldest active team in the National Hockey League and is one of the original six teams among Chicago Blackhawks, Red Wings, Montreal Canadians, Rangers of New York, and Toronto Maple Leafs. They have won six Stanley Championships. The Bruins’ uniform has brown and gold stripes and a “B” logo in front. The current head coach of Boston Bruins is Bruce Cassidy, and the team presently acknowledges an affiliation with a number of inductees, including 52 former players and seven builders of the sport to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
