Founded in 1910, Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is located 30 minutes South of Toledo in northwest Ohio. The university prepares students for lifelong career growth while creating a safe and diverse environment with innovative ideas across Ohio, the country, and the world. The campus of Bowling Green State University has spread in 1338 acres with 119 buildings including the new Stroh Center, the Wolfe Center for the Arts, Centennial Residence Hall, Falcon Heights Residence Hall, and Carillon Place Dining Center. Bowling Green has over 19,102 students, with 18:1 student to faculty ratio and over 800 full-time faculty wherein students come from 50 states of the nation and 70 other countries. Average high school GPA is 3.42 and ethnic and racial minority students are 20 percent. BGSU has been named as one of the top public universities countrywide with a commitment to first-year programs by U.S. News and World Report.
