About Brand Director

What does a Brand Director do?

As brand directors, we own our organization’s marketing strategy for our assigned brand(s). This means we are in charge of brand positioning, messaging, targeting, tactics, budget, and timelines. Based on data gained from market and consumer analysis, we establish targets and develop brand marketing plans that support overall business goals. We lead campaigns across different channels, and establish metrics for measuring brand performance. We provide strategic leadership and management to a team of brand managers and other marketing professionals.

  • leading development of brand marketing plans
  • identifying and implementing appropriate tactics
  • setting up timelines, defining budgets
  • developing and executing brand positioning initiatives
  • developing brand standards, messaging and communication
