About Brand Marketing Specialist

What does a Brand Marketing Specialist do?

As brand marketing specialists, we plan and execute brand marketing strategies and initiatives. This means creating, designing, and delivering an array of promotional activities, from social media campaigns, through paid advertising, to event marketing and more. We create narratives, visuals, and content that reinforce brand vision internally and externally, and we ensure that all marketing activities are consistent with these narratives. We work together with cross-functional internal teams and third party vendors, such as media outlets and agencies.

Core tasks:

  • developing and evaluating market insights
  • acting as a brand advocate (internally and externally)
  • developing brand marketing content and communications
  • creating promotional materials
  • setting style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision
  • assisting with product development, pricing, and new product launches
  • ensuring brand consistency internally
  • liaising with vendors such as media, agencies
