YaleNewHeaven Health Bridgeport Hospital is working as non-profit acute and private hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut, that primarily serves patients from Fairfield and New Haven counties. The Connecticut Burn Center, the state's only burn center, sees patients from all throughout Connecticut and neighboring states. Yale New Haven Health, which includes Yale New Haven Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, Westerly Hospital, and Northeast Medical Group, includes Bridgeport Hospital. Bridgeport Hospital has 501 licensed beds on two campuses, as well as 42 licensed beds at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital in New Haven. It has over 2,600 staff, over 1100 active physicians representing over 60 subspecialties, and 230 medical/surgical residents and fellows in Yale School of Medicine-affiliated programs. In a given year, the hospital admits about 23,000 patients and delivers almost 350,000 outpatient services.
