If you not in the circle of the bosses picks your on the chopping block. Your job will be threatened a lot and you’ll end up doing other people jobs that get paid way more than you

When I was working here there was much multi-tasking and cross-training. The stress level was very high due to management discovering a health issue. I could have done a better job trying to manage MY stress too. I learned many skills that are in demand now so I can't and won't say I regretted working here. As working in any office there were cliqués and politics, the usual. One particular bright spot was the manager of human resources, she was a lifesaver.

Pros and Cons
Salary, but money isn't everything
High stress

As a doctoral researcher we could simulate 3D passenger tires in static and dynamic states with ABAQUS software. We employed strain stress test data for 11 type of rubbers and validate our results for a real passenger tire inflation. Howevere we could be successful with full 3D simulation aproach in dynamic simulation of simplified moving tires on raod.

Pros and Cons
Free lunch and diner, Friendly workplace
Not employed by a suitable contract, working by daily contract without benefits.

Joined a small Bridgestone, left a big Bridgestone! Spent 11 years there. Lots of great experiences. Lots of support. Financially strong. Outgrew the company in terms of moving ahead. Moved on with double the pay.

Pros and Cons
Big budgets, strong finances.
Hours. Lots of hours. Tons of hours. Did I mention 12-14 hour days?

Worked here for 21 years. Helped start up the plant. Mainly in final department. Of course, they expect what any employer expects from an employee. But, they pay you very well for it and have respect for you as a person. Team members become more like family than co-workers.

Pros and Cons
Good pay, advancement oppurtunities, good spirit in plant
None if you want to work.
