Brinks Company Reviews and Ratings
Operations Manager,
Miami, FL - January 25, 2023
I started out as an operations manager, and due to a reduction in work force I then became an area trainer for the company. Senior leadership often secretive and rudderless. Senior Leadership does not treat everyone with consistency and impartiality. Pay for the hourly employees is on the lower end of the scale and leads to poor retention and poor training.
On the plus side, the rank and file will try to help you and show you the proper procedures.
Work-life balance is poor, especially for salaried and exempt employees.
Pros and Cons
Diverse Work Environment
Leadership duplicitous, revolving door, dignity and respect are token words

$11.00 at the time I worked there , Pay certainly not worth your life. They want you to leave your partner if a robbery in progress. Long 14- 16hr days.
Pros and Cons
Get to learn how to shoot downtown weapons
Risk of life, very low pay, extremely long hours

It was a great job until aDT took over. They fired all managers i was last to leave. The people were great to work with, except upper management, they did not know how to treat people or have friendly team environment.
Pros and Cons
Job recognition and growth.
Inventory was a joke.

Machine Operator

The equipment used to do your job on a daily basis, is horrible and outdated, constantly breaking down, Corporate refuses to replace it and management still expects for employees to meet standards! The supervisors as well as management is bias towards certain employees and are very unprofessional!
Pros and Cons
Paid weekly (every Friday’s)
No sanitizer or face masks offered! No cleaning supplies, no hand soap or no janitorial staff!

Brinks was one of the most well rounded careers ive experienced. Great work environment besides no fresh air as you work in a sealed room with no windows or ventilation but other than that no complaints. They're very fair.
Pros and Cons
Pay, hours, raises, growth
Must count accurately or recount mass amounts of currency
