Broward College is a public academic institute and a designated state college operating as a part of the Florida College System in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The college’s administration operates three campuses throughout Broward County, along with additional partnership centers, which offer flexible day, evening, and online classes. The intuition’s roots date back to 1959 when its predecessor the Junior College of Broward County (JCBC) opened its doors to a class of 700 students served by a faculty of 27 educators. Its formative years were very successful, attracting double the number of enrollments each passing year. The college currently stands with over 5000 part-time and full-time faculty and staff, servicing over 63,000 students annually. Certified faculty can occupy open positions at the college through its career exploration virtual workshop, which starts in June each year. Full access to employer and career development resources is provided to each of its associates along with additional benefits.
