Burleson Independent School District is a public-school district and also a medical practice department. It was founded in 1909 by the citizens of Burleson. It is situated in Burleson, Texas, United States. Burleson has 18 schools serving more than 12,200 students in the areas of Johnson, Tarrant, Briar Oaks, Cross Timber, Fort Worth, Rendon, and Crowley counties. They provide an excellent education with highly qualified, passionate, and dedicated academic staff. Burleson ISD has approximately 1500 staff members. The governing agency for Burleson ISD is the Texas Education agency and rated as an academically acceptable school district. Burleson ISD provides serves and operates in 4 high schools, 4 middle schools, and 10 elementary schools.
