Janet and Steve Burpee created Burpee MedSystems (formerly Burpee Materials Technology) in November 1998. Janet's experience in design, mechanical engineering, and metallurgy, along with Steve's background in processing and chemical engineering, resulted in the ideal partnership for stent design and production. They currently employ over 120 individuals, with a highly technical staff capable of meeting its clients' requirements. Burpee MedSystems added catheter assembly to its capabilities and has subsequently grown to provide a fully integrated manufacturing system that provides low-cost, high-quality, and streamlined supply chain management through a finished-good-to-distribution-center production model. They are constantly looking for enthusiastic people to help them expand their commitment to improving people's lives through the medical device business.
