This individual will be responsible for providing business analysis and requirements development expertise for a Federal client. Responsibilities: + Supporting requirements elicitation activities and sessions, including visualization + Leads the requirements efforts by assessing the business needs, defining goals and objectives, and decomposing requirements to successive levels of detail + Consults with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review tasks and deliverables, ensuring conformance with project task schedules + Supporting customer technical reviews + Responsible for the quality and comprehensiveness of all requirements artifacts + Preparing and reviewing applicable requirements documentation to ensure compliance with P/SDLC standards + Supporting requirements engineering efforts such as process modeling, business rule harvesting and tracing + Entering requirements into requirements management repository; ensuring completeness and accuracy + Creating business process models + Must be able to attain a public trust clearance + At least 5 years of post-collegiate professional experience + At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Requirements, and/or BPR Desired Skills + Detail oriented business analyst professional + Responsible, reliable, flexible, with strong attention to detail + Maintains a thorough understanding of the Requirements Management Life Cycle (RMLC) + Experienced with Business Analysis Planning, Business Process Redesign, Operational Concept Development; Business Solution Architecture, Rules & Requirements Development; Business Modeling, Business Rules Harvesting, Business Analysis Baseline Management and Strategic Planning + Understands conceptual business models and process flows + Can explain the characteristics of a “good requirement” + Experience on Agile Projects + CAPM, PMP, or CSM Certified Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required Location: Washington, DC (Chinatown area) with potential for one remote day privileges possible Clearance: US Citizenship with a current and active Public Trust security clearance is required, for consideration.
