About Business Applications Analyst

What does a Business Applications Analyst do?

As Business Applications Analysts, we coordinate with managers and other relevant stakeholders in order to analyze their current application use and provide their staff with training on how to properly use those applications. We also analyze other metrics within the business’ application use to identify new and more precise organizational needs for new applications. We explain to the leadership the importance of upgrading their application by preparing detailed and well-structured technical specifications.

Core tasks:

  • perform regular system backups and upgrades
  • coach the staff on how to use the newly installed applications when necessary *create high-level product specifications and design documents
