About Business Continuity Planner

What does a Business Continuity Planner do?

Working as Business Continuity Planners, we develop and maintain business continuity strategies. We put in place disaster recovery solutions. We track strategy selection and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures. We plan, conduct, and debrief regular mock-disaster exercises. We test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies. We serve as a coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event. We also develop emergency management plans. We manage recovery decision making and communications.

  • develop disaster recovery plans for physical locations
  • test documented disaster recovery strategies and plans

  • prepare descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, and recommendations
