This global corporation has been a leading manufacturer for almost 150 years.  You would work for a smaller division where you can make a big impact!  They are innovative and have dedicated years to design and development of their products.  Our client is in need of a Business Development Manager.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting existing customers
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to grow business
  • Selling development services
  • Taking customers product ideas and determining manufacturability and then negotiating supply agreements
  • Developing new customers and building long-term relationships
  • Working and communicating with overseas managers and peers
  • Creating a target list of customers
  • Driving change and implementing efficiencies
  • Analyzing sales trends and determining business growth potential

To be considered for the Business Development Manager position you must:

  • Have at least 8 years of proven packaging sales in the medical device industry; experience selling injection molding is a plus.  A degree in engineering, plastics, or business is desired but experience will be considered.
  • Be a strategic person and able to develop business across the United States and possibly Mexico
  • Be able to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Have excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
  • Be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work on your own.  You will have support but this is a sales position.
  • Be patient and flexible
  • Have experience with MS Office products
