Justrite Safety Group, the leading source of storage, handling and security products including fire prevention safety equipment for hazardous materials, environmental protection spill containment devices, and specialized storage products is seeking a Business Intelligence & SharePoint Developer/Architect to join their operations. This position can be based out of several of our locations located in the Chicagoland area or Broomfield CO location.
The Business Intelligence & SharePoint Developer will architect, develop, implement and maintain business intelligence, data warehouse and analytics solutions using the Microsoft technology stack. They may design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) routines, perform data profiling and data cleansing and create BI dashboards and reports. They will work within application development teams to integrate analytic solutions into enterprise applications following an Agile development methodology. Required Skills At least 5 years of experience designing and implementing data warehouses and multidimensional database solutions
Experience with analytical, report and dashboard creation using Power BI
Experience developing ETL solutions for BI / DW environments
Strong experience with relational and multidimensional database platforms
Knowledge of data warehouse philosophies such as the Kimball Method
Strong knowledge of Power BI and SQL Server
This position holds a key role as the BI technical expert and data modeler
Collaborate with stakeholders, and business partners to identify and translate general business information needs into delivered solutions
Implement Business Intelligence solutions from design to deployment
Design, develop, and maintain data/dimensional models and the supporting ETL
Lead others in Power BI Dashboard and report development and publishing
Expert level skills in Sharepoint
Effective troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
What you need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics and reporting
Data Warehouse development, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Aggregation experience
Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, TFS, Visual Studio 2014 or greater, Power BI, SSMS)
SQL data warehouse skill sets
Ability to develop fact and dimension tables from stored procedures and SQL scripts
Experience developing reports and dashboard in Power BI
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Ability to develop cubes using SSAS and stored procedures a plus
Self-motivated and ability to work effectively with general direction
Strong knowledge and deep understanding of SharePoint (External lists, User Roles, etc.)
Design and implement the reporting solution through the use of Microsoft technology, e.g., Power BI, Excel 2013, data cubes, or reporting services.
Generate technical requirements and processes
Solicit business reporting and analytical requirements from a variety of business departments.
Provide guidance and training to other functional groups as needed
Good presentation and communication skills
Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) (Microsoft SSIS).
Analytics / Cube Development (MDX)
Experience with SharePoint integration of Power BI
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage projects/priorities effectively
