I would say the environment and culture of the company is around being content. I say this due to the fact that granted it is hard work and stressful at times but we all exceeded our supervisors expectations :D

You can request time off but at least at the one I worked at there was no overtime, we weren't even allowed to work 40 hour weeks. Therefore there were no benefits and no PTO. But you'd be able to get off probably for as long as needed without pay,

Superb!!!Management works with your schedule. It is quick paced and some stores are "not busy enough" for two people working at at time. So it can get pretty stressful when it's almost closing time but customers are still coming in.

Management would call every other week and either ask me to come in on at day off or ask me to work at at different location. Also would schedule me way more when I would tell them my limit on hours. Sometimes expected to work through lunch break when busy.

As per i knew there is no obligation to remain to cover at shift. If you are asked and are willing and able to cover the shift then great! If someone is unable to work their shift, it is company policy that they must find their own replacement, or at doctor's note must be provided. Wonderful perk. highly appreciated
