Instructor Pilots are directly responsible to the Chief Pilot; they are an integral part of the Training
department and are relied upon to ensure that each training opportunity results in a successful training
experience. They must be professional and uphold the highest standards of conduct, ensure a positive
learning atmosphere, be supportive and encouraging, and treat students with respect. A well-trained,
cohesive pilot group is essential to the success of any air carrier.
Instructor Pilot - FAR 135.338
Qualifications:
• Meets the flight instructor qualifications of 14 CFR 135.338.
Responsibilities:
• Teach portions of the MRA 14 CFR Part 135 Approved Training Program as directed by the Chief Pilot
or authorized management personnel.
• Evaluate candidate performance and compliance with MRA policies and procedures in accordance
with appropriate MRA training programs.
Ground Instructor Qualifications:
• Meets those requirements outlined in the General Training Manual.
Responsibilities:
• Teach portions of the MRA 14 CFR Part 135 Approved Training Program as directed by the Chief Pilot
or authorized management personnel.
• Administers non-flight examinations on behalf of the Chief Pilot.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess pilot credentials (CFI, CFII)
A current and valid FAA Certified GROUND INSTRUCTOR certificate, or equivalent issued by
ICAO.
1 year experience developing computer delivered training courseware.
Proven ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment.
Current 1st or 2nd Class Medical.
Preferred:
One year experience in leadership of (FAR) Part 141 pilot school which conducted private pilot,
instrument pilot, commercial pilot, multi-engine pilot, and flight instructor courses.
Associates/Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Aviation, Management,
Education or related field
To qualify as a VFR only Captain:

I have been a flight instructor for 5 years, teaching students of various skill levels and helping them obtain their pilot licenses.
As flight instructors, we develop the instruction material after insights and analysis. We assist the experts and offer supporting documents. We instruct the events and staff. We administer the instruments for regulated functions. We are responsible for preparing the instructional manuals. We also provide instructional manuals to staff and students. Our duties also include training the students for aircrew work. We offer assistance and training to the aircrew. We create instruction manuals for different departments. We provide practical training on various topics, such as aircraft systems and operations. Some of us also provide theoretical lectures to the students.
