About Cable Splicer

What does a Cable Splicer do?

As Cable Splicers, we are responsible for performing cable installation, construction, and repair. We locate and repair cable faults without causing signal failure interruptions. We validate and test end-to-end service provisioning for the cable network. Splicing, testing, and repairing high voltage electrical cables and wires are part of our daily responsibilities. We confirm accurate cable terminations on cross-connect, hubs, and routers. We review site surveys, condition discrepancy reports, and technical manuals for cable installation feasibility. Working as Cable Splicers, we understand and construct prints and splice schematics. We maintain a safe and secure work environment by ensuring compliance with government standards and legal regulations. We also possess knowledge in first aid and CPR.
