Assistant Manager
Las Vegas, NV - June 11, 2022
Typically as a manager in the food and beverage industry we do work more than a standard 40 hour week, but at Caesars Palace the expectation was for every day for us assistant managers to work 10, 11, 12 hours each day (5 days a week, sometimes 6 when we were understaffed) with no work life balance whatsoever. I was not adequately compensated for the amount of work I put into this position and it ended up being a drain on my mental and physical well being. In addition, upper management only cared about the results of our work, there was no positive reinforcement- only punishments for work if we did not exceed expectations, and it was clear the hourly workers were suffering as well.
Pros and Cons
Free food and beverages, free parking
No work life balance, overpriced insurance, unsupportive higher management, low pay,

I worked there for 6 years and the benefits and salary were great as a teamsters union member. Management was very disorganized. We had a few great managers but more horrible then great ones. Constant mandatory over time no work life balance cause their always making you work. No growth no room to move up
Pros and Cons
Paid lunches and breaks. Medical
To much over time and disorganized management

I was promised by our manager that he will receive hire me when spa will open back. But sadly I wasn’t rehired and caesars hired a new manager and conduct interviews and hired new.

I worked here as a Temp for WSOP. About 5 months of work. It was fun. The pay was great. Management was alright. I cant fault them all for one. Flexible, they work with you and there was never an issue that I had. If you can work here. Do it and don’t mess it off.
Pros and Cons
High pay. Benefits. 401K. Free lunch. Free shows. Etc.
