California ISO is a nonprofit public corporation that ensures the flow of electricity high-voltage and long-distance power lines of the grid that serves 80% of California and some parts of Nevada. Since 1998, the ISO controls the routing of electrons, maximizing transmission system efficiency and generation resources, and supervising the maintenance of the lines.
