The California Science Center (CSC) is a state agency and a Science Museum. The California Museum of Science and Industry was established in 1951, while the California Science Center was created in 1998 with spans of more than 400,000 square feet. It has four major exhibit areas. The headquarter is based in Exposition Park, Los Angeles, California, United States. It is situated next to the Natural History Museum and the University of Southern California. It provides an innovative model for science learning by combining exhibits with an on-site Science Center School and Amgen Center for Science Learning as well as a teacher professional development program. The Science Center is available to the public consistently. It is based upon an organization between the State office of California and California Science Center Foundation. CSC is an Equal Opportunity and encouraging workplace.
