About Campus Director

What does a Campus Director do?

As Campus Directors, we provide leadership, direction, supervision and accountability for the university campus and its pathways program. Also, we organize, direct, evaluate, and supervise the campus staff. We have to assist with instructional leadership and develop and implements curriculum and programming for the campus programs. We establish and maintain a safe, effective learning climate in the school by implementing student behavior, attendance, social-emotional supports and school safety programs which are aligned with district policies.

Core tasks:

  • monitoring teacher and student success in classes by formal observation and evaluation
  • coordinating, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of a non-traditional instructional schedule that provides both structure and flexibility to meet the individual needs of diverse students
  • ensuring coordination of effective instructional programs with a master schedule
  • working collaboratively with community members, parents, staff and students to formulate a school vision
