It was established in 1983 by Craig Walker. As a result, CIS started to develop new techniques and technologies in the treatment of both coronary and peripheral artery diseases. Today, CIS is a world-renowned practice and research development institute for state-of-the-art cardiovascular care and treatments through its unparalleled commitment, growth, and excellence. The primary headquarter is based in Houma, Louisiana, the United States, with more than 21 offices located in Louisiana and Mississippi. CIS offers comprehensive cardiovascular care and telemedicine services, including internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, electrophysiology, lipid management, valve diseases, and many more.
