About Career Services Advisor

What does a Career Services Advisor do?

As Career Service Advisors, we are responsible for identifying, engaging, and inspiring students to find and achieve their desired goals. We conduct personal assessment tests to make students aware of their weaknesses and strengths. Assisting them to overcome their shortcoming is also part of our duty. We also build relations with other HR persons and potential employers. Working as Career Service Advisors, we manage and execute career services workshops and seminars. We conduct interview sessions and help students build resumes as per job requirements. Finally, we also serve to help the faculty members educate and prepare students with ever-changing market trends.

Core tasks:

  • preparing students for their desired career options
  • building relations with potential employers and hiring managers
  • guiding students with interview techniques and resume building
  • assisting staff in educating and building students as per market needs
