Founded in 1946, CaroMont Health is a regional health care system that offers cutting-edge health and wellness services. CaroMont Regional Medical Center, previously Gaston Memorial Hospital, is a public, not-for-profit hospital situated in Gastonia, North Carolina, United States. It is the hub of a wide network of physician practices,  hospice, urgent care, and emergency services. The organization offers health insurance, as well as other benefits such as free life and disability insurance,  low-cost dental and vision insurance, free parking, a 403b retirement plan,  generous paid time off (PTO), and opportunities for academic reimbursement as well as scholarship assistance for full-time staff members.
