About the Company
Carvana's mission is to change the way people buy cars. “We sell cars, but we're not car salespeople” is a popular refrain at the company. Customers can browse, finance and purchase a car online and have it delivered to them as soon as the next day, or pick the car from one of the company's Car Vending Machines. Cutting out the dealerships translates to thousands of dollars in lower costs on every vehicle they sell. With the ability to search thousands of vehicles from the inventory, with high-resolution 360 photographs of the vehicles interior and exterior, to real-time financing and the ability to complete contracts without visiting the back room of a dealership, Carvana provides a seamless, online car buying experience for consumers that can be completed from their desktop or even mobile device. All vehicles are inspected and reconditioned based on a 150-point certification checklist and come with a 7-day return policy. Carvana also operates a logistics network to deliver cars to customers as soon as the next day, as well as offer customer pick-up at the company's signature Car Vending Machine locations. Carvana was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Tempe, Arizona.
