Cecil County is a county and is located in the US state of Maryland in the northeaster borders with both Pennsylvania and Delaware. As of the 2010 census, the population was 101,108 and the county was name corner of the state on the after Cecil Calvert, 2nd Baron Baltimore Cecil County has been in existence since the late 17th century, although it continued to grow in population and city size. The county is located in Wilmington's Radio Market and Philadelphia designated market area. There are 17 elementary schools, six middle schools, five high schools, and the Cecil County School of Technology, which specializes in vocational education and technology, all of which are run by Cecil County Public Schools.
