I have never worked for a place like this before.For training, they just put me with an agent who wasnt even training me..She said she had never trained anyone and didnt want to either.Very negative environment. There was no official training classes at all.The agent they sat me with was just doing her work and not even training me.Then somedays she just left early and i was left literally just sitting there with no direction.Then when i went to the supervisor, the agent got mad and started talking bad about me to other agents and the sup joined in too because they were all friends..very unprofessional..when i tried to report the training issue and the hostile work environment ,they just blew me off. It was retaliation and very unpleasant work environment .The job itself I loved , i just jumped in and figured it out on my own. The agents sometimes were just sitting around gossiping about other workers, supervisor right there and said nothing.No accountability at all.

The other day, the manager suggested that I work remotely, given the nature of my work. I let him know that I find it easier to work in a professional environment rather than at home where one tends to cut corners with their work. He was level headed enough to understand that, and I really appreciate that about our managers.
