Confluent Health, a growing Louisville-based healthcare company, currently has an outstanding opportunity for a talented professional looking to advance in their healthcare career as Centralized Scheduling Coordinator. We operate in multiple states and this position will provide national patient scheduling support via online chat, phone, email, text and fax with referral source interaction on the phone.

Centralized Scheduling Coordinator Position Summary: Overall job responsibilities include patient scheduling via online chat, phone, email, text and fax and patient and referral source interaction on the phone. Work with internal teams and Regional Office Coordinators to assist with customer service and scheduling efforts. Previous history with and working knowledge of insurance benefits, administrative duties, customer service and office experience required.

This is a full time position with benefits based at the Confluent Health Support Center in Louisville, KY. Working hours are 10am-7pm EST, Monday thru Friday, with some variability based on volume/timing of patient scheduling.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in healthcare office setting. This is not an entry-level position.
  • Working knowledge of insurance benefits, deductibles, co-payments related to the delivery of medical care.
  • Must be outgoing, self-motivated, and driven to succeed. Great at follow up and follow through.
  • Excellent multi-tasker in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including phone presence and in writing.
  • Excellent organization skills and experience.
  • AmaZing! customer service ethic and high expectations for quality.
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment.
  • Quick to pick up on new technology and eager to learn and grow with this position.
  • Ability to relate to the public regardless of ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic statu

TASKS

  • Supervise the work of office, administrative, or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
  • Resolve customer complaints or answer customers' questions regarding policies and procedures.
  • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.
  • Review records or reports pertaining to activities such as production, payroll, or shipping to verify details, monitor work activities, or evaluate performance.
